Surfs Up!

We will have a few days of increased surf from what's left of this tropical storm. Sunday it already begins to lay down and next week is shaping up to be real nice.

What we are expecting for tonight into tomorrow is some great surf fishing. With all the bait around some increased turbulence should create an easy meal for bass.

A Few boats getting out this week, those who did were able to find some seabass and fluke. The fluke bite has been spread out some guys are doing well in front of point Judith. A few of our customers have tried there shot at Tautog. They opened August 1st, the report has been phenomenal, with a lot of fish being caught and good size ones.

In the pond the striper have been picky, small bass are chasing rain bait. The cows have been roaming the eel grass for bigger bait like juvenile seabass and eels. The incoming is still producing the better bite but the tide is moving very slow. You can also expect a good amount of weed in the pond through out the next few days. this past week we had an abundance of snapper blues that joined the pond party. They are always fun to catch on small kastmasters and snapper poppers.

Tuna reports this week have been very good with mostly unders. the bite is coming from jig and troll. with the weather window next week looking promising we hope the bite holds up so more boats can get out to try their luck.
