There has been some holdover striper activity in the local salt ponds and rivers that seemed to be getting a boost from some local alewives beginning their run. Anglers are also finding some white perch, March is often one of the best months to target them. Largemouth bass fishing which has been firing up quick has actually been great throughout the winter. With more than a handful of hangry pickerel mixed in. Due to the warmer weather and the ponds never having a chance to ice up, making fishing possible. With a warmer winter in general we are anticipating an early April arrival of fresh schoolie stripers. We have been open part time or by appointment and are currently packing up the shop for our run to the RISAA show this weekend. Its the largest Saltwater fishing show in New England, with over 300 booths filled with a variety of vendors. Be sure to stop by booth #909 & 910, talk fishing, and grab a couple items for the upcoming season. As always appreciate your support and looking forward to kicking off the 2023 season!!
We are closed this weekend due to the RISAA Show. We will be open part time or by appointment until we go full time on April 7th.
From live crabs, live eels, local squid, clams, mackerel, bunker, sand worms and top of the line fishing gear we've got you covered.
