It's been a week of quality over quantity, with more big fish showing than small.
Bass fishing is officially in full swing. Large numbers have pushed onto the shoreline, and more are on the way. It's been an interesting start, with many of the first fish pushing 30"+. Smaller fish are around, but not in big numbers yet.
With the full moon, water has been ripping through the breachway. If you're fishing inside, make sure you're geared up:
Water temps in the salt ponds climbed earlier this week, hitting 60°+ in some areas, which triggered solid cinder worm activity. Fish have been keyed in on them.
Out front has been quieter for boat guys targeting bass, but there have been good reports coming from the bay.
