Its time people, our Albie fever is breaking. Mullet are thick and leaving the ponds. The fishing is on, where are you?
**Striped Bass**
The bass bite in the salt ponds is on. First light and last light are the ticket. The mullet move at these times and stripers are aware and ready to ambush. My favorite lure to use in the pond this time of year is a spook. Either a Jumpin' Minnow upgrade or a Hydro Pencil. Eels have still been working great especially for the larger fish. Breachways' at night are starting to light up. Outgoing with swimming plugs SP Minnow and bucktails and swimbaits on the inside - Al Gags Whip It Fish and Storm WildEye Swim Shad.
**Fluke**
Reports have slowed with a few people picking them up. Some shorts being caught by bycatch. Always worth a shot if you don't feel like chasing bass or Albies. Fresh local squid in stock.
**Bluefish**
Some insane blitzing going on on peanut bunker this past week snapper to cocktail size. Bigger blues being caught out front and off the rocks. Some good lure choices: Breachway Bomber and Kastmasters.
**Albies**
They are here and hopefully to stay. First light tends to be the best bite. West wall and Some of the pull off in Narraganset are giving shore anglers the best opportunity. Epoxies have been working the best reports of pink and silver doing best. Hogy Epoxy Jig
**Sea Bass & Tautog**
Seabass starting to lay off and giving guys a chance to get some bigger blackfish. Blackfish can be found from 15-50ft of water at this point in the season. Jigs and rigs both producing well. We have plenty of green crab.
