9/22/23 You Can Sleep Over the Winter!

Striped bass have mainly been targeting mullet and peanut bunker in our area. Mid week we had some favorable boat conditions.

The Tautog bite has been improving. Most boats have been able to catch their limit but had to work to find bigger fish. Find structure, let the tide get going and be patient.

The Albie bite has been great and there are still some Bonita around. As conditions improve after this weekend, the inshore fishing should pick right back up with bass and bluefish migrating along the beaches. I’m sure everyone is ready for some beach blitzing to start happening.

The offshore bite was good this past week still with some nice size bluefin and yellowfin being caught. You never know what day will be your last great day of the year so enjoy them and fish hard!
